In north-eastern Syria, a military police unit of the Russian Armed Forces, supported by army aviation helicopters, conducted a patrol in the province of al-Hasakah.
The length of the route from the village of Qamishli to the village of Andivar and back was about 30 kilometers.
Along the entire route, the column was accompanied by Mi-8AMTSh and Mi-35 army aviation helicopters, which provided air cover at extremely low altitudes, as well as conducted aerial reconnaissance of the surrounding area.
More than 30 military personnel and five pieces of equipment were involved in the patrol — BTR-80 armored personnel carriers and "Rys" armored vehicles.
