Bulletin of the Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides and Refugee Migration Monitoring in Syrian Arab Republic (July 29, 2020)
As part of the implementation of the Memorandum on the establishment of de-escalation zones in the Syrian Arab Republic, signed by the Russian Federation, the Republic of Turkey and the Islamic Republic of Iran on 4 May 2017, control groups continue monitoring ceasefire compliance.
According to the agreement of the Russian and Turkish sides, from 00.01 on March 6, 2020, a cessation of hostilities is in effect on the territory of the Idlib de-escalation zone.
The Russian part of the representative office of the joint Russian-Turkish Commission for consideration of issues related to violations of the cessation of hostilities, recorded 3 facts of opening fire in the provinces: Idlib – 2, Aleppo – 1.
The Turkish part of the mission did not record any facts of opening fire.
Humanitarian aid provided for the Syrian population
Over the last 24 hours the Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides and Refugee Migration Monitoring has held one humanitarian action:
in Mazlum, Deir ez-Zor province. 250 food packages were issued, with a total weight of 1,2125 tons.
A total of 2,464 humanitarian actions were carried out, and the total weight of the delivered humanitarian cargo was 4,099,6379 tons.
