Bulletin of the Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides and Refugee Migration Monitoring in the Syrian Arab Republic (December 4, 2021)
As part of the implementation of the Memorandum on the establishment of de-escalation zones in the Syrian Arab Republic, signed by the Russian Federation, the Republic of Turkey and the Islamic Republic of Iran on 4 May 2017, control groups continue monitoring ceasefire compliance.
According to the agreement of the Russian and Turkish sides, a cessation of hostilities will be in effect on the territory of the Idlib de-escalation zone from 00.01 on March 6, 2020.
The Russian part of the representation of the joint Russian-Turkish commission for the consideration of issues related to violations of the cessation of hostilities, recorded 8 facts of opening fire (according to the Syrian side, there were no attacks) in the provinces: Aleppo - 2, Latakia - 3, Idlib - 3.
The Turkish part of the mission stated 4 facts of opening fire (the Russian part of the mission confirmed – 0).
Humanitarian aid provided for the Syrian population
During the day, the Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Sides and Control over the Movement of Refugees did not hold humanitarian actions.
A total of 3031 humanitarian actions were carried out, the total weight of the delivered humanitarian cargo was 5315,8673 tons.
