In the Syrian Arab Republic, work continues aimed at a non-military resolution of the conflict and providing comprehensive assistance to Syrian citizens in restoring peaceful life.
Over the past day, representatives of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides have not carried out humanitarian actions.
In total, since the beginning of the settlement process, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Sides has conducted 3027 humanitarian actions. The total weight of humanitarian cargo delivered exceedes 5,2 thousand tons.
The implementation of the provisions of the Russian-Turkish Memorandum of Understanding adopted on October 22, 2019 continues.
Russian military police units conducted patrols in Aleppo province along the routes Ajami–Avsharia and back, Ajami–Membij and back; in Hasakeh province along the route Qamishliya–Ain-Divar and back; in Raqqa and Hasakeh provinces along the routes Tell-Tamr – Ain-Isa and back.
Over the past day, 5 attacks from the positions of the Jabhat-al-Nusra terrorist group were recorded in the Idlib de-escalation zone. In Aleppo province - 3 shelling, in Idlib province - 1 shelling, in Hama province - 1 shelling.
In Idlib province, two Syrian servicemen were wounded as a result of mortar fire fired by terrorists from the Kafer-Ruma area at positions of government forces near the village of Khas.
The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides urges leaders of illegal armed formations to cease hostilities and move towards peaceful settlement of the situation in areas they occupy, and ensure delivery of humanitarian relief to Syrian civilians.
