In 1.5 years, builders in Aleppo repaired 200 houses in a residential area of al-Hamdamiya
The builders in Syrian Aleppo over the past 1.5 years have repaired or rebuilt 200 residential buildings in the Jamiya al-Riyad district. By the end of 2020, the remaining 160 houses are planned to be repaired on the south-western outskirts of the northern capital of Syria. This was reported by engineer Muhammad Ismail.
“In this district there are a lot of buildings that were badly damaged by shelling, and now we are restoring them. In 1.5 years we managed to rebuild 200 residential buildings, and before the end of next year we plan to restore the last 160. Each of them is designed for five apartments. We work strictly on schedule. In total there are enough - workers, equipment, materials. I am sure that we will finish on time,” said Muhammad Ismail.
Housing in the neighborhood on the southwestern outskirts of Aleppo began to be built in 2007. Five years later, 360 buildings were ready, but they did not have time to populate them - the area was seized by terrorists
