As a result of the joint activities of the Russian Federation and the SAR, to date, 2,222,960 Syrian refugees and internally displaced persons have returned to the places of their chosen residence.

As Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev noted at a meeting of the joint coordination headquarters of Russia and Syria, the conference was held at the highest organizational level.
