Work continues in the Syrian Arab Republic to resolve the conflict in a non-military manner and to provide comprehensive assistance to Syrian citizens in restoring peaceful life.
Over the past day, representatives of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides have not carried out humanitarian actions.
Since the beginning of the settlement process, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the warring parties has conducted 3,023 humanitarian actions. The total weight of humanitarian cargo delivered amounts to 5,2 thousand tons.
The joint efforts of Russia and Turkey continue to implement the provisions of the Russian-Turkish Memorandum of common ground of October 22, 2019.
Russian military police units continued patrolling in the Membij area of Aleppo province from Ajami along two routes in the direction of Avshariyah and Membij.
Another joint Russian-Turkish patrol took place in the al-Hasakah province along the route from DEIRUN-AGHA to SHALHUMIYAH and back.
Russian military police units conducted patrols in the provinces of Raqqa and Hasakah on the route from Ain-Isa to Tell-Tamer and back, in the province of Deir Ez-Zor on the route from Hatla to Salhiyah and back.
The Russian military police continues escorting civilian vehicles on the section of the M4 Tell-Tamer - Ain-Isa highway. Over the past day, the safe movement of 1,146 people and 495 pieces of equipment has been ensured.
Work is underway to restore the situation in Deraa province. With the mediation of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides, 262 people settled their status in the settlement of el-Magrib, 37 weapons and more than 1.5 thousand ammunition were handed over.
Over the past day, 25 attacks from the positions of the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group were recorded in the Idlib de-escalation zone (including 20 attacks, according to the Syrian side). 14 attacks were registered in Idlib province, 8 attacks were registered in Latakia province, 3 attacks were registered in Hama province, and 4 attacks were registered in Aleppo province.
As a result of the artillery shelling by terrorists of the positions of government forces in the area of the settlement of Kuljok in Idlib province, one Syrian soldier was killed.
The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides urges leaders of illegal armed formations to cease hostilities and move towards peaceful settlement of the situation in areas they occupy, and ensure delivery of humanitarian relief to Syrian civilians.
