Work continues in the Syrian Arab Republic to resolve the conflict in a non-military manner and to provide comprehensive assistance to Syrian citizens in restoring peaceful life.
Over the past day, representatives of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides have not carried out humanitarian actions.
In total, since the Russian Centre for Reconciliation started settlement process, it carried out 3,022 humanitarian campaigns. The total weight of humanitarian cargo delivered amounts to 5,2 thousand tons.
The joint efforts of Russia and Turkey continue to implement the provisions of the Russian-Turkish Memorandum of common ground of October 22, 2019.
Russian military police units continued patrolling in the Membij area of Aleppo province from Ajami along two routes in the direction of Avshariyah and Karakozak.
Russian military police units conducted patrols in the provinces of Raqqa and Hasakah on the route from Ain-Isa to Tell-Tamer and back, from Qamishliya to Ain-Divar and back; in the province of Aleppo on the route from Jarih-Al-Faukani to Hijatar and back.
Over the past day, 25 attacks from the positions of the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group were recorded in the Idlib de-escalation zone (including 20 attacks, according to the Syrian side). 13 attacks were registered in Idlib province, 7 attacks were registered in Latakia province, 3 attacks were registered in Hama province, and 6 attacks were registered in Aleppo province.
In the Tell-Rifat district of the Aleppo province, one shelling of the positions of the Syrian government forces was recorded by militants of illegal armed groups operating in the territory controlled by the Turkish armed forces. The militants fired mortar shells from the area of the settlement of Mazraat Al-Uyun at the positions of government forces in the area of the settlement of Kol-Sruj. There are no losses among the servicemen of the armed forces of the SAR.
The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides urges leaders of illegal armed formations to cease hostilities and move towards peaceful settlement of the situation in areas they occupy, and ensure delivery of humanitarian relief to Syrian civilians.
