Work continues in the Syrian Arab Republic to resolve the conflict in a non-military manner and to provide comprehensive assistance to Syrian citizens in restoring peaceful life.
Over the past day, representatives of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides have not carried out humanitarian actions.
Since the beginning of the settlement process, the Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides has conducted 2,990 humanitarian actions. The total weight of humanitarian cargo delivered amounts to 5,2 thousand tons.
The joint efforts of Russia and Turkey continue to implement the provisions of the Russian-Turkish Memorandum of common ground of October 22, 2019.
Russian military police units continued patrolling in the MEMBIJ area of Aleppo province from AJAMI along two routes in the direction of AVSHARIYA, MEMBIJ.
Another joint Russian-Turkish patrol took place in Aleppo province on the route from Garib to Tel-Khajeb and back.
Russian military police units conducted patrols in Raqqa and al-Hasakah provinces on the route from Ain-Isa to Tell-Tamer and back, and in al-Hasakah province on the route from Qamishliya to Mamduhah and back
Russian military police units continue to escort civilian vehicles along the M4 highway between the settlements of Ain-Isa in Raqqa province and Tell-Tamer in Hasakah province.
Over the past day, 395 vehicles and 965 people were escorted. A total of 82,445 vehicles and 160,678 people have been escorted since May 25, 2020.
Over the past day, 26 attacks from the positions of the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group were recorded in the Idlib de-escalation zone (including 20 attacks, according to the Syrian side). 14 attacks were registered in Idlib province, 4 attacks were registered in Latakia province, 4 attacks were registered in Aleppo province, and 4 attacks were registered in Hama province.
The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides urges leaders of illegal armed formations to cease hostilities and move towards peaceful settlement of the situation in areas they occupy, and ensure delivery of humanitarian relief to Syrian civilians.
