Oceanographic ship Admiral Vladimirsky has finished the visit to the port of Suez within the long-range cruise to the shores of Antarctica.

Having replenished her supplies the ship set off for the Red Sea and continued movement to the south.

Officers and scientists continue performing continuous research during the cruise measuring the five main environmental parameters – temperature, atmospheric pressure, wind characteristics, precipitations and clouds.

One of the main missions of the meteorological group is data analysis and preparation of recommendations for navigation on certain routes.
