General information on the application of measures for the reconciliation of opposing sides
Within last 24 hours, truce agreement with representatives of 1 inhabited area in the Homs province has been achieved.
The total number of inhabited areas, the leaders of which had signed reconciliation agreements, has reached 128.
Negotiations on joining ceasefire regime have been continued with field commanders of armed opposition detachments active in the Damascus, Homs, and Hama provinces.
The number of ceasefire application forms signed with leaders of armed groupings has remained 60.
Results of ceasefire monitoring
The ceasefire has been observed in most provinces of the Syrian Arab Republic. Within last 24 hours, 5 ceasefire violations have been registered in the Damascus province.
Jaysh al-Islam formations, which had claimed to belong to the opposition, have performed mortar shelling against positions of the Syrian Armed Forces in Arbil, Duma, Jaur al-Basha inhabited areas and in Jaubar for two times.
Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Air Force did not make strikes on opposition armed formations, which follow ceasefire regime and informed the Russian or American Centres for reconciliation about their location.
Humanitarian aid to the population of Syria
Camp for internally displaced persons located in the Homs province with citizens of Zaraa has received a humanitarian cargo.
Moreover, 1 tons of humanitarian assistance has been delivered to Tell Abur (Aleppo province). Food products and sweets for children are the basis of the cargos.
Airplane of the Abakan Air (Russian aviation company) has delivered food products and corns (18,300 kg) of the UN to Deir ez-Zor, which had been besieged by ISIS terrorists.
Automobile column has delivered the UN humanitarian cargos to Darayya (Damascus province) for the first time since 2012 under cooperation with the Centre for reconciliation of opposing sides in the Syrian Arab Republic and owing to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Silence regime” has been established at 12 p.m. on June 1 for 48 hours in Darayya (Damascus province) on the initiative of the Russian party in order to decrease the level of violence, stabilize the situation and provide security for delivering humanitarian aid to the population.
Groupings of Jabhat al-Nusra international terrorist organization continue performing provocative actions aimed at breaking the ceasefire down. Within last 24 hours, shelling with MLRS and mortars has been performed against Handrat inhabited area, Sheikh Maqsood, Amriyah, al-Zagra, and Meidan sectors of Aleppo.
Terrorists fired against Rasha, Ard al-Wata and Iqqo (Latakia province), Sqalbiya, Tell al-Malakh, Teir Maala and Tisnin (Homs province), Marj Sultan (Damascus province), checkpoint of the government troops in al-Mahatta sector of Daraa city.
Attacks of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists against units of the Syrian Armed Forces near Muheim Handrat (Aleppo province) have continued. All attacks have been repelled.
Russian aviation in the Syrian Arab Republic continues performing tasks aimed at disrupting economic basis of ISIS terrorists.
Russian Su-34 bomber carried out strike on oil refueling plant located on the territory controlled by ISIS terrorists (near Ras al-Ayn, al-Hasakah province)
Strikes were performed on reservoirs with oil located in the territory of the plant. Strikes brought technical equipment out of operation and inflamed oil products causing large fire at the plant.
