Briefing of the Centre for reconciliation of opposing sides in Syria (September 18, 2017)
The Russian Centre for reconciliation of opposing sides together with National Reconciliation Committees continue taking actions to stabilize situation in the liberated areas of the Syrian Arab Republic to enable refugees to return home.
As a result, more than 600 Syrians have returned to the settlements of Jaba and Kafr Antun.
In the liberated settlements, roads, infrastructure and social objects ruined by combat actions are being restored, water and power are supplied.
In the eastern de-escalation zone of Idlib, as a result of talks held with leaders of illegal armed formations, 35 terrorist squads have claimed their readiness to side with the government troops.
In the province of Homs three more settlements have joined ceasefire regime: Talbisah, Al-Ghantu, and Umm Sharshuh.
