Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces Colonel General Viktor Bondarev stated that all missiles and bombs of the Russian aviation in Syria hit the targets, no one civil facility damaged

Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces Colonel General Viktor Bondarev stated that all missiles and bombs of the Russian aviation against the ISIS terrorist facilities in Syria hit the targets.

During his meeting with journalists, he stressed that jets take off only after proper training of the pilots, analysis of the objective monitoring data, information received from UAVs and space reconnaissance.

Speaking on the effectiveness of usage of the Russian Aerospace Forces against the ISIS objects in Syria, the Commander-in-Chief informed that on October 4, a pair of Su-24 jets had made an air strike on a column consisting of 32 ISIS automobile vehicles near Aleppo airfield. Almost all vehicles used for AA systems have been destroyed.

“Each flight is properly analyzed, and we confirm operations held by our pilots using UAVs, cameras mounted on aircraft, and human intelligence,” said Viktor Bondarev.

Aviation group of the Russian Aerospace Forces have performed 112 strikes against the facilities of the “Islamic State” in Syria since September 30 by October 7. 

“Command, coordination and communication centers, terrorist training camps, armament manufacturing plants, depots with ammunition and POL were the targets of the aviation strikes,” explained Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces.

“Not a single civilian facility has been hit by our aviation in Syria,” stressed Viktor Bondarev.
