Reconciliation of the opposing sides
Within last 24 hours, truce agreements with representatives of 2 inhabited areas in the Homs province have been achieved.
The total number of inhabited areas, the leaders of which had signed reconciliation agreements, has reached 138.
The number of ceasefire application forms signed with leaders of armed groupings has remained 60.
Results of ceasefire monitoring
The ceasefire has been observed in most provinces of the Syrian Arab Republic. Within last 24 hours, 3 ceasefire violations have been registered in the Damascus province.
Jaysh al-Islam formations, which had claimed to belong to the opposition, have performed mortar shelling of positions of the Syrian Armed Forces in Jaubar, Mayda’a and Arbil inhabited areas.
Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Air Force did not make strikes on opposition armed formations, which follow ceasefire regime and informed the Russian or American Centres for reconciliation about their location.
Humanitarian aid to the population of Syria
Humanitarian convoys for the population of Syria are being formed.
Camp for internally displaced persons located in Masyaf inhabited area (Hama province) has received 21 tons of humanitarian cargo. Sour, food products and sweets for children are the basis of the cargos. Medics of the Russian Centre for reconciliation have provided medical assistance to 83 citizens, including 29 children.
Abu Sfita (Aleppo province) and camp for internally displaced persons located on the territory of Tair Maala village (Homs province) has received a ton of humanitarian cargo each.
Aircraft of the Russian aviation company has dropped 18.3 tons of UN humanitarian cargos (food products, grains) on Deir ez-Zor, which had been besieged by ISIS terrorists.
Groupings of Jabhat al-Nusra international terrorist organization continue performing provocative actions aimed at breaking the ceasefire down.
Despite the Ramadan month, which had started on Monday, terrorist groupings continued shelling residential areas of towns and villages as well as positions of the government troops and Kurdish militia. Number of civilian casualties is increasing.
Terrorists shelled Ain al-Qantara, Ard al-Wata, Rasha, and Hakur Tahtani (Latakia province), Fuah (Idlib province), Skalbiya and a checkpoint of the Syrian Armed Forces near Suran (Hama province), Bliliye and Marj Sultan villages (Damascus province).
In the Aleppo province, Jabhat al-Nusra armed formations carried out shelling with MLRS and mortars against al-Hamra and Qarasi as well as numerous shellings against Sheikh Maqsood, Meidan, al-Khalidiah and Amriyah sectors.
Moreover, terrorists have performed shelling with MLRS, artillery, mortars, and AD systems against Makanis al-Duvairi area in Aleppo city.
Within last 24 hours, Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists have continued attacks against positions of the Syrian Armed Forces in northeastern, northwestern and southwestern suburbs of Aleppo city. All attacks have been repelled, terrorists have suffered significant losses.
A column of heavy trucks with munitions and weapons escorted by armed groups have been detected in the northeast of Aleppo. The column was moving from the Turkish border. It faced no limits while moving through territories controlled by different armed groupings and reached the ISIS-controlled region.
