27 settlements of the southern zone of de-escalation in Syria have acceded to the ceasefire
Over the past week, due to to negotiations of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria, 27 settlements of the southern zone of de-escalation in the governorates of Quneitra, As-Suwayda and Daraa that have voluntarily acceded to the ceasefire regime and moved to the side of the government of the Syrian Arab Republic.
Citizens of the settlements in the provinces of Quneitra, As-Suwayda and Daraa warmly welcome the officers of the Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides and the Russian military police, following the meeting and negotiations on reconciliation with the leaders of local armed groups.
In the settlements that have passed to the side of the Syrian government, the work of the state authorities is restarted, preparations for the reconstruction of social infrastructure and the delivery of humanitarian assistance are being performed.
Special attention is paid to the creation of conditions for the reception and accommodation of refugees, returning from terrorist groups-controlled areas of the southern de-escalation zone, from other regions of Syria and neighboring countries.
