Tu-22M3 aircraft return back home in Murmansk region from North Ossetia
Crews of Tu-22M3 long-range bombers arrived in the Murmansk region from North Ossetia airfield after performing tasks on eliminating terrorists in the Syrian Arab Republic.
Chief of combat training department of long-range, military-transport, and special aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces Major General Alexander Tsylyev, representatives of the Yunarmiya movement, veterans, and relatives met the pilots.
Major General Alexander Tsylyev congratulated the pilots and expressed his gratitude for successful task performance.
On December 11, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, ordered the withdrawal of troops.
